The Sea of Tranquility is one special area of the moon. It is the landing site of Apollo 11 where Neil Armstrong first walked on the moon!
How do you find the Mare Tranquillitatis or Sea of Tranquility? First locate the crater, Theophilus. Then put the crater towards the top of your field of view. Look below Theophilus, find the bright area below the crater, then a darker area and just beneath the darker area is the Tranquility Base. Now zoom in on the telescope to see moon landing site.
